WeBee To Debut Learning Home Automation At CEDIA

Crowdfunded startup Webee says its system learns user behavior and patterns better than Nest, tracking the home to adjust lights, thermostats, A/V gear, other smart home devices without programming. Z-Wave Garage Control Debuts At Lowes

Intelligent home control from the garage got a first look from Wired magazine, which took the new Iris garage controller for a spin. The controller connects to a garage door opener, which in turn connects wirelessly to a central Iris hub. A smartphone app ties the opener’s actions to other devices running on the Z-Wave protocol.
